Zirochka*.media

"A media outlet for slow intellectual reading."

— The brief

Zirochka*.media is a Ukrainian outlet for analytical essays and long-form journalism. We built the product from zero: logo, identity, architecture, UI and the WordPress build — then handed it to the editorial team so they could run the outlet entirely on their own.

Zirochka logo
The logo: eight rays — the evening star and the typographic asterisk in one mark.
Zirochka identity
Core identity: palette, typography and the rules that hold the pages together.

We designed an editorial system: rules by which hundreds of future articles
find their own place and their own reader.

How did we do it?

The editorial team runs the outlet alone — no developer, no agency on the day-to-day.

Try Studio didn't start with pictures — they started by asking us a lot of questions. What we got back is a system where every new piece already knows its place. We run the outlet ourselves now, and Zirochka* is shining and growing.
